Plant a Seed Project: Growing Community from the Ground Up
People are Greater Than Money is thrilled to announce the official launch of the Plant a Seed Project, a multifaceted initiative designed to cultivate connection, sustainability, and self-sufficiency across our communities.
At its core, this project is about more than just agriculture—it’s about investing in people and nurturing the environments we share. The Plant a Seed Project brings this vision to life through several key branches:
🌾 School Garden Clubs
We are partnering with local schools to establish interactive garden clubs. These hands-on spaces teach students where their food comes from, the science of sustainable agriculture, and the value of teamwork. By getting their hands dirty, the next generation learns valuable life skills and develops a deeper respect for the environment.
🚜 Farming Across Arizona
Our roots are spreading statewide. Through localized farming initiatives throughout Arizona, we are working to transform underutilized land into productive, green spaces. These efforts focus on climate-resilient farming techniques that respect our desert landscape while producing fresh, nutritious food for local areas.
🤝 Community Mobilization
We believe true change happens together. A massive component of the Plant a Seed Project is getting neighbors, local businesses, and volunteers actively involved. From community planting days to educational workshops, we are creating spaces where people can connect, learn from one another, and take ownership of their local food systems.
